Google Drive Data Access and Usage Policy
Our app offers an optional Backup and Restore feature that utilizes your Google Drive to ensure your personal application data is safely backed up to your own cloud storage.
1. Data Accessed and Scope Used
| Google API Service | Data Accessed | Purpose of Data Access | Scope Requested |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google Sign-In | Your primary email address and basic profile information (name, profile picture). | To authenticate your identity and link your account to the backup service on your personal Google Drive. | openid, email, profile |
| Google Drive API | Application-specific data files (e.g., database backups, settings, configurations). | To securely store and restore the app’s internal data for backup purposes. | https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.appdata |
2. How We Use and Store Your Data
- Backup Storage: When you enable the backup feature, the app securely uploads a copy of your internal data (such only the application data) to a hidden, dedicated folder within your personal Google Drive account called the Application Data Folder (using the
drive.appdatascope). - Privacy and Visibility: Data stored in this Application Data Folder is only accessible by this app. It is not visible to you in the main Google Drive interface, and no other files in your Google Drive (such as photos, documents, or general folders) can be read, modified, or accessed by our application.
 - Data Control: All backup data remains under your full control within your Google Account. We do not store copies of your Google Drive data or your backup files on our own servers.
 - Data Sharing: We do not share any data obtained through the Google Drive API with any third parties. Access is strictly limited to the secure backup and restore functions requested by you.

3. Revoking Access
You can revoke the app’s access to your Google Drive backup data at any time by visiting the Google Account Security settings (Third-party apps with account access) and removing this application from the list. Revoking access will prevent future backups until you sign in again.
